Hello Oakland County Residents

My name is Isaiah Hellner, and I am running for Oakland County Treasurer.

As a young voice in our community, I bring fresh energy and a dedication to ensuring that every hard-earned taxpayer dollar is managed with utmost care and transparency.

For the past few years, I have worked in the financial planning and insurance industry, assisting people in making impactful financial decisions for comfortable living. I firmly believe that sound financial practices are essential to providing our county with a secure future.

I am committed to the challenge of protecting our county’s tax dollars and maintaining our AAA bond rating. My goals include increasing property values and preventing foreclosures.

If elected, I pledge to uphold three guiding principles: Transparency, Efficiency, and Accountability.
First and foremost, transparency will be the cornerstone of my administration. You deserve to know exactly how your money is being spent and why. Through open budgeting processes and clear communication, every decision will reflect the needs and priorities of our community.

Secondly, efficiency will be integral to our budget process. We cannot afford to waste a single penny. By streamlining spending and eliminating unnecessary expenses, we will maximize every dollar's potential.

Lastly, accountability will be non-negotiable. I will establish rigorous oversight mechanisms to ensure that public funds are used responsibly and ethically. Trust is earned through actions, and I pledge to earn your trust every day.

As a lifelong resident of Oakland County, I am passionate about our community's well-being. Together with your support, we can continue to build a brighter future for all residents, now and for generations to come.

Meet Isaiah Hellner
________

Isaiah, a native of Oakland County, graduated from Everest Collegiate High School in Clarkston. He continued his education at Oakland University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing in 2020. During his time at OU, Isaiah was a member of Oakland’s club football team, contributing to their national championship win in 2016.

After college, Isaiah discovered his passion for financial planning and insurance. He finds fulfillment in helping others prepare for their future through his work in the financial industry.
Outside of work, Isaiah prioritizes his health and wellbeing through weight training. He also enjoys attending local car shows with friends and family. If you happen to see him around Oakland County, don’t hesitate to say hello!
